The location of Drummeenagh Cottages

Co. Louth and the East coast of Ireland
Drummeenagh House and Cottages are located near Castlebellingham, one of the loveliest villages in the area. It's just a 10 minute drive to the seaside village of Blackrock; where there is a great selection of Pubs & Restaurants overlooking the beach with breathtaking views of the Cooley Mountains. Nearby Boyne Valley is listed in the Top 21 History destinations in the world along side Machu Pichu and New Orleans and just one of the many more sights to see!

Rates

Weekly rental €350-800
BOOKING PERIOD
Normally Saturday-to-Saturday. Short breaks available low to mid season.

PAYMENT
€100 (£80) deposit per week, remainder payable eight weeks before arrival.

ARRIVAL
After 3pm, to allow for cleaning.

DEPARTURE
By 10am on day of departure.

INCLUDED IN RENTAL
Welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk and cake. Free towel rental, fresh bed linen, tea towels. Electricity and oil.
Sporting equipment can be stored in an secure outbuilding. No pets please.

ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES

KARTING
WHITERIVER PARK: New Kart racing circuit with 2 circuits, one circuit is for children, the other circuit is for older children and adults.
FORMULA KARTING NEWRY: Indoor karting track for children over 8 years old and adults, this is great fun for all even mums and I can recommend it as I have had a go with my kids.

HORSE RIDING
RAVENSDALE LODGE:
Equestrian and Trekking Centre, set in the stunning scenery of Ravensdale and open to beginners and advanced riders, children and adults. Cross country treks and indoor and outdoor arena.
ARDEE RIDING SCHOOL: Family riding school with arena.

KAYAKING AND CANOEING
CARLINGFORD ADVENTURE CENTRE: Various adventure activities for the day or week. These include: Climbing, Kayaking, Laser shooting, Archery and more.
CELTIC CANOES: Guided River Trips, Guided Lake Tours. All equipment supplied, great day out and well organised by young men who are great fun and well informed.

WALKING AND CYCLING
See the walking and cycling section. We are keen walkers and cyclists so we can provide excellent advice and detailed maps to support these activites.
